Custom made canvas
bags
Here's the first line
of products in our new expansion into the Safari lifestyle. We've known
about these beautiful and rugged bags from when we lived in Botswana. They're
custom made by a small company that supplies luxury tents to the camps in
the Delta. Before we move back to the States we had several items made for
us. We loved them and so when we were back in Maun this summer we stopped
by the workshop to see if the owners would be like to work with us to bring
these awesome bags to the US. They were as excited as we were and we spent
a morning talking about all the possibilities.
They can make almost anything out of canvas so in addition to the bags they've
already designed; we can up with a few of our own. Peter even had his favorite
but hard to find wallet recreated. Sorry, we're not offing it at the moment
as it was a one off.
So, from the epicenter of the safari world, Maun, Botswana comes the ultimate
safari bags. While these bags are quite handsome, their design puts function
before fashion. They're made in Africa, for Africa, simple and strong with
no special bells or whistle because bells and whistle break. They're made
of the highest quality 14 oz. per sq. yd. canvas or cordura and trimmed
with heavy duty nylon webbing. This is an excellent balance between strength
and weight. Some canvas bags are made of super heavy canvas, and while these
bags can hold a ton, they also weight a ton.
All bags are custom made to order. Choose from 6
different colors of canvas or ? colors of cordura plus a trim color.
Since these bags are being custom made by hand in Botswana, please allow
for 12 weeks for delivery. You can also contact us with your own design
for a bag. We are currently working with a world renowned falconer to develop
a special falconry vest.
We're also looking for dealers, so please contact us if you're interested.
