Boating Safaris

We offer a SPECIAL 7-day Boat Safari down the Okavango River. After being picked up at the airport in Maun, you'll be driven up to Shakawe at the northern end of the Okavango Panhandle.

From there, with all the food, beverages, tents, bedding etc packed onto boats and launched into the river, you'll travel down river, through the Delta to camp on islands along the way.

The trip ends at the southern end of the Delta where you'll be picked up and brought back to Maun. The bird viewing is absolutely top class and the fishing is pretty good too. The water is so clear, you will be able to see everything that is going on underwater.

You can also combine this trip with a visit to the World Heritage site, Tsodilo Hills and it's ancient and fascinating rock art. Your hosts will be the De Graaf family, who've been living in Botswana for five generations. (The pictures shown above were taken during a boating safari hosted by the De Graaf's.)
